In an effort to expand the number of tools teachers need to reach those internet-minded kids these days, Google for Education announced today via blog post that it now offers the ability to make polls.
Google offers a host of reasons why polls are helpful in reaching kids, from making sure they understood the day’s lesson to getting feedback on particular units. It’s also a more efficient tool for teachers who try to gauge the same kinds of sentiments with forms.
Constructing a poll is simple: teachers can choose to create a multiple choice or short answer poll to distribute to the classroom. They will be notified when kids complete the lesson, and be able to quickly see the answers at a glance.
Polls are available today for classrooms that are signed up.
