The CFO Meetup: For Scaleups

The "CFO Meetup for Scaleups" brings together a curated group of CFOs and financial leaders from fast-growing Dutch scaleups. Organised by KPMG Emerging Giants, in collaboration with TNW, the goal of this event is to equip finance leaders with the tools they need to succeed, whilst forming a trusted peer group that can share and learn from one another along the way. For the first edition of the CFO Meetup for Scaleups on 14 February, participants will be guided through a hands-on workshop on how to successfully manage change within your organisation from a financial perspective. How much time do you spend ‘running the business’ vs sharpening your axe and implementing improvements, at the intersection of finance and business? This workshop will be facilitated by finance experts from the KPMG Emerging Giants team who have supported many scaleups throughout their growth journey. After this session, you will walk away with:

• A 'finance' improvement and/or change plan on paper;
• An assessment of the extent to which this will be successful and your influence on this;
• A method 'in your pocket' with which you can implement improvements and/or changes.

The only preparation needed is to think about what you want to improve and/or change at your organisation.

Following the interactive workshop, there will be time to get to know each other during networking drinks.

• A dedicated CFO/ Finance leader
• 25-150 employees
• Focusing on scaling up the business (not yet preparing for an immediate IPO/exit)
