1. British carmaker Jaguar Land Rover announced that it’s testing software from IOTA which would allow it to reward its drivers for sharing data about their car journeys, reports Reuters.
2. According to a new report from cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes, browser-based cryptocurrency mining attacks – also known as crypto-jacking – are down 79 percent from this time last year.
3. Singapore police issued an alert this weekend warning locals of scammers that impersonate Chinese legal officials that request cryptocurrency payments via Bitcoin ATMs, the Straits Times reports.

4. Lenovo Data Centres is reportedly using IBM‘s blockchain to improve its customer service and sales systems by allegedly providing greater transparency, Australian tech news outlet CRN reports.
5. A cryptocurrency mining botnet has attacked the servers of workplace collaboration software Confluence, Bleeping Computer reports. The infection allows attackers to remotely control the servers to mine cryptocurrency.
