Google helps travelers find the best spots with auto-translated local reviews

Google helps travelers find the best spots with auto-translated local reviews

Google is updating its search and Maps services with a small but significant update that should make it easier to find the best places to go and things to do when you travel.

The next time you’re abroad and look up a place, restaurant, store or point of interest, both Maps and search will surface reviews from locals, translated into your preferred language so you don’t need to decipher them yourself.

Being able to tap into insights from locals should help folks find better recommendations.
